ATP TEST STATION
ATP – Accord Transport Perrisable
ATP is defined as the regulation for temperature-controlled refrigerated refrigerated transport of perishable foods intended for human consumption. ATP is an acronym for Accord Transport Perissable, an abbreviation of “Agreement on International Transport of Perishable Food and on Special Vehicles to Use for such Transport”.
The ATP regulation is the result of an agreement signed in 1970 by some States that imposes certain rules in the construction of isothermal installations for refrigerated refrigerated transport intended for the transport of perishable food at controlled temperature, and certain prescriptions for users. The standard prescribes the types of perishable food to be transported in a controlled temperature regime and the temperatures at which refrigerated and refrigerated transport must be carried out.
